Important limitations

Code 39 is wider than Code 128. Lowercase letters and the start/stop asterisk are not data characters here. Configure scanner checksum settings to match your labels.

Common questions

Does this register my barcode?

No. Creating artwork does not assign or register a GS1 identification number.

Can I enter a value without the check digit?

EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, and ITF-14 accept their data digits and calculate the final check digit. A supplied invalid check digit is rejected.

Which format should I print?

SVG is scalable artwork; PDF preserves the chosen physical width. Print at actual size, without fit-to-page scaling.
