Is LabelPico really free?
Yes. All available tools work without accounts, payments, or watermarks. There are no paid upgrades. Safety limits exist only to protect browser memory and responsiveness.
Do static QR codes expire?
No service expiry is built into a static QR code. Its encoded content cannot change, but a linked website or other destination can stop working.
Which files can I download?
Individual codes support PNG, SVG, and PDF. Bulk tools provide ZIP archives of SVGs and PDF sheets. Label templates can be exported as JSON.
Are Excel and CSV files uploaded?
No. Files are read and processed locally in your browser. Do not store sensitive information in shared-device templates.
Can I print codes for retail products?
You can create artwork, but you need legitimately assigned GS1 identifiers where your retailer requires them. A checksum or downloaded image does not confer ownership.
Why will my code not scan?
Check the value, contrast, quiet zones, print resolution, and physical size. Avoid distorted images and fit-to-page printing. Test with the actual scanner used in your workflow.
Does the scanner work on every browser?
Camera access requires HTTPS or localhost and explicit permission. Device cameras and supported barcode formats vary. Image scanning is available as an alternative.
How do I get accurate printed labels?
Set the correct paper dimensions and margins in the label designer. Download a PDF and print at actual size / 100%. Start with a calibration test before printing a full batch.
